Welcome!
Explore Sackville and the surrounding communities in a whole new way! Take a day trip to Silver Lake, get some exercise through Dorchester and Memramcook or spend the weekend on the Canada Rail Trail! We definitely have the bicycle for you, all summer long and into the autumn as well.
Rental starts at the MASU office - see instructions and details below for more information on how to rent our bicycles.
How does it work?
Pick up your bicycle
Head to the MASU office during office hours to get set up with our front staff!
Summer: Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 4 PM
Autumn: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
You will need:
your student ID or a piece of valid ID
You will:
sign a consent form and waiver
read our Protocol for Missing Bikes
choose your bicycle
receive a helmet, bike lock and key

Your rental period is one business day long! Cycle through the streets of Sackville, make some daytrips, cycle for exercise and much, much more! Tag us on social media and show us how you are enjoying the Bike Co-op and where you are exploring in the Tantramar area!

Return your bicycle
Head back to the MASU office to return your bicycle before noon! Our front staff will take your lock and key and give you access to the bike shed to return your bicycle and helmet. Don’t forget to sanitize everything once it is put back in its place!
Then, tell your friends about us! The Bike Co-op is available to all students, free of charge.
Where should I go with my bicycle?

Broken Bridge
A short ride from downtown Sackville, Broken Bridge is a perfect place to see the Tantramar marshes, smell the sea when the tide comes in, and sometimes hear or see the train!
Location: Bridge Street, Sackville
Distance from Student Centre: 7-10 mins
Le Chat Bleu
Le Chat Bleu is a beautiful bistro located near Port Elgin! Take the scenic Canada Rail Trail all the way there through Waterfowl Park, agricultural land and large wooded areas.
Location: Tidnish Road, Baie Verte
Distance from Student Centre: 2.5 hrs
Silver Lake
Silver Lake is a perfect place to cool off after a bike ride - bring a picnic and check out the park, watch the boats in the summer, and swim to the buoys before heading home.
Location: Pondshore Road, Sackville
Distance from Student Centre: 20-25 mins

Return your snowshoes
Head back to the MASU office to return your snowshoes before noon! Our front desk staff will take care of everything upon your arrival.
Then, tell your friends about us! The Snowshoe Co-op is available to all students, free of charge.
Where should I go with my snowshoes?
Tantramar Outdoor Club Trails
The Sackville community is passionate about cross country skiing and snowshoeing at the Tantramar Outdoor Club. These trails are regularly groomed and perfect for any skill level!
Location: Walker Road, Sackville (Search “Tantramar Outdoor Club Tailhead” on Google Maps to find the starting point for the trails!)
Distance from Student Centre: 7 minutes by car, trails are anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours long! There is a map at the trailhead for reference.
