Grants & Funding

The MASU gives back directly to its Members through over $60,000 of grants aimed at improving the student experience. Grants, unless otherwise specified, are administered by the Finance & Administration Committee and the Vice President, Finance and Governance.

  • Academic Enrichment Fund

    Provides year-round financial assistance to MASU Members so that they can participate in activities that will enrich their university experience without financial barriers.

  • CLUBS & SOCIETIES FUND (C&S)

    The Clubs & Societies Fund (C&S Fund) provides MASU-affiliated clubs with funding to make events and projects possible! The money is then transferred into your MASU Account.

  • Green Investment Fund (GIF)

    Provides funding to projects that reduce carbon emissions in the Mount Allison community. Administered by the Sustainability Committee and the Sustainability Coordinator.

  • I-EDI Fund

    Provides financial support to I-EDI initiatives in the Mount Allison University Community. Administered by the I-EDI Committee, chaired by the Vice President, Student Life.

  • Jeff "Skip" Fraser Memorial Scholarship

    Provides a one-time financial award to returning MASU Members who have exemplified leadership, and who embody the spirit of the Mount Allison Community.

Applying for MASU FundING

Step 1: Fill out the Application Form that corresponds to the fund you wish to apply for. The form can be filled out digitally or on paper.

Step 2: Submit the application form:

Online: Use the appropriate link to upload it as a PDF by the upcoming deadline date at 11:45 PM Atlantic time.

In-Person: By printing it out and handing it in at the front desk of the MASU Office (first floor of Student Centre) by the upcoming deadline date at 4:30 PM

Step 3: Check your emails for any requests for additional information and respond as required!
