The finances of the MASU are overseen by our Vice-President, Finance & Governance alongside our General Manager.

Every year the MASU undergoes a budget drafting process involving the Executive, members of the organization, and the Finance Committee before being sent to the Students’ Administrative Council for review and ratification.
Toward the end of the summer, the MASU conducts an audit with the assistance of an independent third party to give insight into how union money was used in the previous year. This audit is presented to the Students’ Administrative Council, and the budget is made available here for all union members.
The MASU also offers various funding opportunities available to members to go toward student-led initiatives on-campus and in the community.
