Resources for Clubs & Societies’ Leaders

  • The MASU's Clubs & Societies Manual is a great guide for first-time and experienced student leaders.

This manual can be accessed here!

  • ALL events on-campus at Mount Allison University require a Risk Assessment Form (RAF) to be filled out and approved. RAFs can take up to two weeks to be approved — so plan accordingly incase of delays!

This years RAF can be accessed here!

  • ALL Clubs and Societies must have an up-to-date constitution. Constitutions will expire on May 1st and must be renewed by submitting a Constitution Form to the Vice President, Student Life, which can be found below.

NEW Clubs and Societies can be started by selecting the “I am starting a NEW Club/Society” in the form below. They must then be approved by the Students’ Administrative Council, which can take up to 3 weeks. Once it has been approved, you will gain access to funding, spaces, bookkeeping services, and more!

Blank constitutions can be found here!

    Submit your constitution here!

  • ALL Clubs and Societies are eligible to apply for the Clubs & Societies Fund, which supports events and initiatives that benefit the MASU membership (students!).

ALL Clubs and Societies have an account with the MASU where funds are stored. Requests for reimbursements can be made by filling out a Cheque Requisition Form. Visit the MASU office for reimbursement inquiries or contact Nancy at masu@mta.ca. Please note that external club/societies bank accounts are strictly prohibited.

  • The Clubs & Societies Event Calendar is a new way for the MASU to aid in the promotions of C&S Events. A calendar of upcoming events will be shared to the MASU Instagram page twice a month containing pertinent event details.

To submit an event to the C&S Event Calendar click here!

  • In order to gain access to resources from the MASU, your signing officers MUST complete an annual training module.

The training module can be accessed here!

  • Each year, The Clubs & Societies Fair takes place at the end of Orientation! - Clubs & Societies can register for a table and promote their groups and attract new members! Keep an eye on our social media for more information about how to register.
